My research focuses on the preanalytical properties of biochemical markers and their influence on diagnostic reliability. In recent years, I have contributed to studies on the stability of autoantibodies, including acetylcholine receptor antibodies, and explored novel biomarkers such as neurofilament light chain and vitamin B12-related proteins. I have also investigated the effects of biotin interference and hemolysis on assay performance. A growing area of interest is the establishment of robust reference intervals, including age- and sex-specific pediatric reference ranges, to support accurate clinical interpretation.
