Journal Club

Journal Club is an event which is held once a month within a subject of interest to researchers. The event is arranged by one or more PhD students.

Educational session at the morning conference

The educational session is held on a Wednesday once a month after the ordinary morning conference at the clinic.

Contents on the website

New projects

New projects are made available to the public through our website to increase awareness of our research. The projects are published on the Projects page, both on the listing and on an individual page with a description and info on the project. The individual project page should contain a description following the guidelines below:

  • Title
  • Eventually an acronym
  • Study design
  • Background
  • Objective(s)
  • Collaboration
  • Project group (full name, academic degrees, academic title and clinical title, department, institution, city, and country for each participating individual)
  • Funding
  • Eventually published papers
  • An image easily associatable with the project
  • Project start and end (month and year)
  • Status (initial preparations, ongoing, etc.)
  • Project leader (the primary researcher on the project)
  • Primary investigator and/or supervisor
  • Eventually ClinicalTrials.gov registration (number and link)
  • Eventually EudraCT number

News and events

Everyone can send a request for publication of a news post/article or an event on the website. Please write to ctvs@clin.au.dk. The request should contain the following:

  • Title
  • Excerpt
  • Main text with eventual subheadings
  • Contact information with name, academic degrees, academic and clinical title, department, institution, address, and email
  • Images (possible images to include are one header image and multiple other images. Remember to include a figure text, if images are included, where the name of the photographer is added)

Events should contain the following information in addition to the above:

  • Date and time (from and to, including specific times)
  • Location (room, level, entrance, department, institution, address)
