New PhD Student from April 1: Kirstine Hermann Jørgensen

Kirstine Hermann Jørgensen, MD will be working with the lung microbiome in emphysema patients with chronic obstructive lung disease treated with endobronchial valves.

Kirstine Hermann Jørgensen is a medical doctor and works with endobronchial valves and identification of factors affecting outcome and risk of adverse events in a collaboration between Department of Respiratory Medicine and Allergy and Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, Aarhus University Hospital. She has been working on the project since 2021. Since March 2022 she has been working clinically at Department of Respiratory Medicine and Allergy.
