Dear all,

I’m pleased to share an update regarding the upcoming Geilo Meeting 2025, which will take place from February 6th–8th, 2025, at Dr. Holms Hotel.

This year, we have reserved a limited number of rooms at Dr. Holms for conference participants. To secure accommodation, please book directly through the hotel at booking@drholms.com (mentioning the Geilo Meeting 2025). Rooms will only be held until December 1st, so early booking is encouraged.

To ensure a smooth planning process, we are working with the same deadlines as last year:

  • Abstract submission deadline: November 15, 2024
  • Room booking deadline: December 1, 2024

Once abstracts are reviewed and accepted, authors will receive confirmation, allowing them to finalize room bookings. Please note that although we may extend the abstract deadline, participants should be aware that rooms at Dr. Holms could sell out, and alternative accommodations may be necessary.

Registration will remain open until the start of the conference.

This year, we are excited to announce an extended wetlab session on Thursday and Friday, focusing on mitral valve and aortic surgery. Additionally, we are honored to host a presentation by Henning Rud Andersen, who will discuss his pioneering work on the TAVI valve, accompanied by a video recording of a TAVI procedure.

Our scientific program will include two main themes with invited talks on aortic valve replacement and revascularization, along with sessions based on accepted abstracts.

As always, the success of the meeting depends on active participation. I kindly ask you to help promote the meeting and encourage your colleagues, PhD students, and any other researchers you collaborate with to submit abstracts for this exciting event.

Looking forward to seeing you all at Dr. Holms in February!

Best regards,
