Nursing research

Our research:

  • Developing and testing follow up programmes after cancer using digital care guides (Apps).

  • Developing and testing a systematic approach to efficiently identify and treat late adverse effects after cancer.

  • Identifying the needs and challenges experienced by patients with limited digital skills treated in the increasingly digitalized Danish healthcare system.

  • Investigating the impact of pelvic organ cancer treatment on long-term everyday life and affiliation to the work market.

  • Investigating impact from upper GI cancer on post-operative complications, quality of life and late adverse effects.

About us:

  • A group of experienced researchers with a nursing background.

  • We are independently initiating and conducting scientific studies of various designs, here among quantitative and qualitative studies, register-based studies, and validation studies.

  • We are collaborating with colleagues locally, nationally and internationally, and across professions, disciplines, and sectors.

  • We are supervising master/phD students and distributing the results of our research in scientific publications, at national/international conferences and to patients and the public.
