An integrated approach to research and clinical practice

The Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery is an academic surgical department where consultant surgeons and staff specialists are active in research projects as an integrated part of their daily clinical work. Surgical fellows and junior doctors are encouraged to initiate or participate in research activities.

Multidisciplinary collaboration in surgical research
