I am researching in the field of interventional cardiology and my present focus is stroke prevention by closure of the left atrial appendage.
Minimal invasive techniques, such as percutaneous interventions will become even more widely applied and used in the everyday-hospital-world and require and deserve adequate attention.
It is important to me to continously improve our treatments and I hope to contribute towards that goal.
Job responsibilities
As a researcher, I am interested in interventional cardiology. In my work, I primarily deal with research itself and organization. I have a degree in medicine and have experience with clinical studies as well as animal studies.
