Research

I investigate the mechanisms driving atherosclerosis and other cardiovascular diseases using functional genomics, cellular assays, animal experimental models, and human tissue.

Teaching activities

Molecular Medicine Bachelor students: Molecular Cell Physiology II 

Topics: Pathophysiology of diverse cardiovascular conditions (e.g., atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction, cardiac regeneration). 

Molecular Medicine Bachelor students: Drug Development and Pharmacology 

Topics: Physiology and pharmacology of the autonomic nervous system.
