MMF is organizationally affiliated with both Aarhus University (Department of Clinical Medicine) and Aarhus University Hospital (Department of Clinical Biochemistry). 

Our missions:

• To carry out genetic diagnostic under the Danish Newborn screening program
• To carry out research programs including international collaborations and establish and develop novel methodology
• To provide the infrastructure and knowledgebase for collaborative projects with clinicians at AUH and scientists at Aarhus University
• To contribute research-based teaching at undergraduate and graduate level, and supervise bachelor, master and PhD projects of students.
