My PhD project focuses on testing new tools to assess disease activity monitoring in giant cell arteritis - the DiAcMo Study. We evaluate vascular ultrasonography, patient-reported outcome measures and laboratory biomarkers as markers of relapsing (active) disease in a prospective cohort.
