I am a clinical epidemiologist, currently employed as a postdoc. My educational background is in health sciences, and I hold a PhD in clinical epidemiology.
During my PhD, I focused on how the influenza vaccine affects overall mortality and other clinical outcomes, using data from health registers and electronic databases. My current research centers on venous thromboembolism and related risk factors including lifestyle factors and socioeconomic position.
I teach in the PhD course 'Introduction to Clinical Epidemiology', as well as in master's level courses related to epidemiology.
My primary responsibility is conducting epidemiological, register-based research. In addition to research, I contribute to teaching within the field of epidemiology.
