Profile
I am a medical student at Aarhus University and a research year student at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Aarhus University Hospital. My research focuses on acute airway management, recurrent respiratory papillomatosis and ultrasound in head and neck cancer.
Research
My main project, conducted in collaboration with anaesthesiology, evaluates the acute management of patients with a threatened airway at Aarhus University Hospital, where a predefined multidisciplinary team receives patients in a dedicated trauma room. I also investigate the impact of HPV vaccination on the disease course of recurrent respiratory papillomatosis.
Collaborations
I contribute to data collection at Aarhus University Hospital in international multicentre studies on 3D and transoral ultrasound in head and neck cancer, in collaboration with the SURGiC group, Copenhagen University Hospital – Rigshospitalet.
