With my background as a doctor from Aarhus University in 2020, I am particularly interested in the body's physiology and biochemistry with a focus on fertility. The combination with epidemiological studies provides a unique, broad context and understanding of the topic.
 
 
 

In my research I will try to unravel the potential associations of Perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) exposure in pregnancy and the reproductive health in young adult women. The perspective is to provide a scientific understanding on the declining fertility rate and the potential association with prenatal exposure to PFAS.

I gather clinical data for future use by numerous researchers focusing on women's fercundity. This data encompasses, among other things, transvaginal ultrasound examinations, blood tests and their processing, questionnaires, and various body measurements.
