Peter Andreas Andersen

I am a medical doctor and PhD student at the Danish Pain Research Center, Aarhus University. My work combines a clinical background with research on pain and sensory dysfunction, with a particular focus on neuropathic pain in radiculopathy.

My research focuses on pain and sensory dysfunction in neurological disorders, with a particular interest in radiculopathy and nerve root disorders. I study the relationship between pain, sensory disturbances, and how to clinically assess and report those symptoms, particularly related to diseases affecting the nerve roots. 

I graduated as a medical doctor from Aarhus University in 2017 and subsequently worked in several clinical specialties primarily internal medicine and forensic medicine. Since 2023, I have been a PhD student at the Danish Pain Research Center, Aarhus University, conducting research on pain and sensory disturbances in radiculopathy.
