As a Ph.d. student, I conduct research on Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. In my work, I am particularly interested in temporomandibular joint involvement, dentofacial deformities and sleep disturbances among patients with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. I have a background as a Medical Doctor and have experience with Paediatrics and Children- and Adolescent psychiatry.
I am conducting research on Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis(JIA) with particular focus on temporomandibular joint involvement, dentofacial deformities and sleep disturbances. Using data from the prospective population-based Nordic JIA Cohort, my goal is to determine and predict long-term outcomes for these patients. My research contributes to patients and families with JIA by being able to give more information and possibly prevent some of the long-term outcomes of JIA.
My primary area of responsibility is research, including teaching. I also contribute to coordinating a Journal Club and as ph.d. student represent of the "Børnesymposiet"
