Research
I study the use of sleep medication in psychiatry through a registry study and a clinical study, where all patients diagnosed with schizophrenia in the Central Denmark Region are offered an assessment of their sleep and use of sleep medication. My goal is to raise clinicians’ awareness of the various types of sleep medication and their potential side effects. My research helps improve the treatment of sleep problems in people with mental illness.
