PACE is hiring a group leader (Associate Professor level) for a 5-year full-time position starting 1 January 2027.
The succesful candidate will establish an independent research programme focused on live-cell in vitro studies of cellular function and dysfunction in Parkinson's disease. The position offers a unique opportunity to join a newly established, internationally ambitious research environment.
What you will do
- Build and lead a research group in live-cell in vitro analysis of cellular dysfunction in PD
- Publish high-impact research and secure external funding
- Teach and supervise PhD students
- Collaborate across disciplines within PACE
We are looking for
- A strong international research profile in live-cell neuroscience
- Proven expertise in advanced imaging and in vitro neuroscience models
- Experience with iPSC-derived neurons, organoids, and omics-based approaches
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
