Inauguration of PACE
On 24 September 2025 Aarhus University will celebrate the inauguration of PACE with an opening ceremony in the AULA followed by a reception.

PACE - Lundbeck Foundation Parkinson's Disease Research Center has been established on the basis of a large grant from the Lundbeck Foundation.
The Centre will conduct research into Lewy body diseases, of which Parkinson's disease is the most common.
Talented researchers from all over the world, including research leaders in basic science, neurology and neuroepidemiology, will work in PACE to ensure that the centre will carry out clinical trials within 10 years and provide initial documentation of the effectiveness of treatments.
The long-term goal is to find treatment that can slow or stop the progression of the serious disorder. The Centre is part of the Department of Clinical Medicine, Health, Aarhus University.
