Sportstraumatology
Research within sports traumatology covers treatment of knee ligament, meniscus and cartilage injuries as well as arthroscopic treatment of hip joint diseases. We work with clinical and experimental studies with both local, regional, national and international participation with a focus on establishing new and improved diagnostc and treatment methods. In addition, epidemiological studies of treatment results after knee ligament reconstructions are carried out based on the Danish Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction Register and in collaboration with international clinical registries.
