About the research community

We seek to encourage an open and supportive environment for all clinicians, students and researchers interested in research in gynecology and obstetrics.

Many clinicians at the department are active researchers, and we aim to integrate the research in the daily clinical work.

Meetings

The department holds several meetings for researchers.

All researchers including PhD students and Research Year students are invited to take part in the research community and attend the morning conferences at the clinical department.

The department have several lectures each week including a research meeting every second week.

Each PhD student and Research Year student is supposed to give a status at least once per semester. The PhD students and Research Year students participate in a monthly journal club in collaboration with the pediatrics department. Additionally, PhD students and Research Year students have a monthly one-hour morning meeting.
