Doing a PhD on inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal cancer, involving work with registry data, AI, pathology, and genetics. The PhD is affiliated with Aarhus University, Department of Clinical Medicine, and the Department of Hepatology and Gastroenterology at Aarhus University Hospital.

Also conducting register-based research on diabetes and screening for cardiovascular diseases based on the VISP cohort, affiliated with the Department of Vascular Surgery at Viborg Regional Hospital.

Responsible for teaching nursing and medical students at VIA during a thematic day on interdisciplinary communication. Additionally, responsible for teaching medical students in the Department of Hepatology and Gastroenterology at Aarhus University Hospital.

In my PhD, I collaborate with the Department of Pathology at Aarhus University Hospital and the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) in London.

For my diabetes research, I collaborate with Steno Diabetes Center Aarhu

Currently on leave from my fellowship in medical gastroenterology and hepatology, which is based at the Department of Hepatology and Gastroenterology at Aarhus University Hospital and the Medical Department at Horsens Regional Hospital.
