I graduated with a Master of Science in Biomedicine in 2023 from Aalborg University. During my education, I worked primarily within cancer research and the immunomodulatory field.
I subsequently worked as a process supporter in a company, where I was responsible for optimization projects, deviation management, updating SOPs, etc.
In March 2025, I started as a scientific project coordinator within cancer research at AU at MOMA.
Through my education and my current position, I have gained several years of experience in cancer research, respectively within cancer vaccines and now bladder cancer. In addition, I have had the pleasure of working with my passion for the immune system and its major role in the development of cancer.
My focus area in my current position is circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) within various cancer types and coordinating a multitude of projects with several different stakeholders.
2018-2021: Bachelor's degree in Medicine with Industrial Specialisation (AAU)
2021-2023: Master's degree in Biomedicine (AAU)
As a scientific project coordinator, my main focus is supporting research and enabling data generation for local, national, and EU projects. The primary field is cancer research (primarily in bladder cancer) and sequencing of tumors, plasma ect. Another aspect of my role is handling the biobank and entering data in eg. Redcap and other biobank softwares.
Furthermore, I manage lab protocols and data analysis, especially in next-generation sequencing, ctDNA analysis (ddPCR) and analysis in R.
